Lynn Niklasch is a multi-species angler with seven years of professional experience as a guide and diverse tournament fisherman. He is a United States Coast Guard Captain and Wisconsin licensed guide specializing in walleye fishing, and is one of the few local ice-fishing guides. Lynn is a member of the National Professional Anglers’ Association (NPAA), member number 151.

Your Fishin' Pal Guide Service is based in Oconomowoc, WI. Lynn's mission is to ‘Teach the Joy of Fishing’, equip others with techniques they can use on their own, and to pass along the knowledge that was shared with him as a child. He ensures that his clients are satisfied with their experience, that the trips are enjoyable for children and encourages adults to spend time with children in the outdoors. Lynn offers trips to Southeastern Wisconsin lakes, Wisconsin, Rock and Wolf River Systems, Bay of Green Bay (including Michigan waters) and Lake Michigan. Lynn fishes for species from pan fish to musky, and believes there is always something biting somewhere.

Lynn has fished several tournament circuits including Master Walleye Circuit (MWC), Midwest Walleye Series (MWS), World Walleye Association (WWA), Forest L. Woods League (FLW) and Ironman Musky Tournament Trail (IMTT). To date, he has won six first-place finishes, eight other top-five finishes and 15 other top-twenty finishes. In 2007, he will be fishing the Professional Walleye Trail (PWT).

To promote his sponsors and business, Lynn has been featured in several segments of Outdoor Wisconsin, Travis Richardson’s Outdoor Fishing Guide Show and in fishing reports in Madison’s local news. In 2007, he will be continuing these projects, and expanding to Appleton news and has a video project underway. Additionally, he will be on TV with Outdoor Insight Television, and on Saturday mornings you’ll be able to hear Lynn give fishing reports on AM 1250, Cutting Edge Outdoors.

Lynn also works at boat and sports shows throughout the Midwest. Lynn is an experienced seminar speaker. He has been featured in several articles by outdoor writers, including Dick Ellis, contributes information to walleye fishing instruction guides, composes information for various internet postings and contributes to the guide notes on topographical fishing maps. Lynn is active in several clubs including NPAA, Fellowship of Christian Angler’s Society (FOCAS), Fishers of Men and other youth and church groups, where he donates and educates. He was on the water 202 days in 2006 guiding, promoting and fishing tournaments.
