Trout &
Salmon
Don’t let
cabin fever get to you this winter! The warm water discharges and the
break wall on Lake Michigan provide a special opportunity to fish all
year long. Brown trout are here when the weather is cold. Coho salmon
are most plentiful in April, and are some of the best eating. King
salmon provide lots of action in summer and early fall, with four year
old fish reaching over 20 lbs. Trolling is just one of many techniques
that can be used here. Jigging and casting with light spinning tackle
is a blast. Be sure to grab a beer and brat while you’re here!

Testimonials:
Thank you
again for the great trip on Lake Michigan for Brown Trout. Can't tell
you how good it felt to feel a big fish bend a rod in the middle of
winter. Ice fishing is great but by mid-winter I get cabin fever and
need to do some open water fishing. Easy to arrange, easy to get to,
numbers of fish, and some big fish (20+ lbs). Awesome way to celebrate a
Saturday that otherwise would have been wasted!!
